The Beatitudes

Today, as the Underground, we come together in prayer and fasting, collectively joining our hearts in a “laser-focused” way.

Our prayer today: The Beatitudes

Across our city, we are constantly praying for our neighbors, friends and family. God has highlighted for each of us a context that we have been praying to bring the beauty, justice and good news of Jesus into.

As we pray today across the city, we take time to allow the Spirit to highlight those people, and maybe even people that we haven’t noticed before, and pray a blessing over them. To do this, we’ll read Jesus’ opening blessing from the sermon on the mount and ask God to highlight and bless the people in our lives that carry these characteristics.
